Delete your Ateamo Whistle account

Ateamo Whistle accounts are issued and managed through your league's Ateamo system, so deletion is handled by request. Here is how to make one, and exactly what happens to your data afterwards.

Request deletion

  1. 1

Email privacy@ateamo.com with the subject line “Delete my account”, from the email address associated with your account — or include that address in your message.

  2. 2

We confirm the request, verify the account with your league, and respond within 30 days.

Email a deletion request

A parent or guardian may submit this request on behalf of a referee under 18.

What is deleted

  • Your account information — email address, display name, and account identifier.
  • Diagnostic and usage reports linked to your account identifier, if you had account-linked diagnostics turned on.
  • Sign-in credentials and tokens associated with the app.

What may be retained

  • Official match records — scores, match events, and check-in records — belong to the league the matches were officiated for and are kept under that league's rules, the same way a paper match report would be. Where it is feasible, retained records are dissociated from your deleted account.
  • Records we are legally required to keep, for as long as the law requires.

You can stop optional sharing instead

If you only want to stop optional data sharing, you do not need to delete your account. In the app, go to Settings → Privacy and turn off Share Usage and Crash Reports. You can change this at any time.
