More control over schedules, player approvals, and league operations
This release brings new tools for managing schedule changes, reviewing player registrations, and keeping teams informed. It also improves everyday tasks across League Manager and the player app.
Scheduling and match management
- Move through your schedule by week. New week navigation, adjustable grid zoom, field controls, and customizable filters make busy schedules easier to work with. Short team names are restored in the grid.
- See teams without a game. The schedule identifies teams that are not playing in the selected period, helping you spot gaps while planning fixtures.
- Reschedule rainouts with more context. Review selected games, choose a new date, and check availability conflicts before confirming. Replacement games are created while the original fixtures remain recorded as rained out.
- Replace a team across a round or season. Update scheduled matchups when a team changes. This replaces the team in fixtures; registrations, rosters, and results are not transferred or recalculated, and closed rounds are skipped.
- Track field conditions. Set venues and individual fields to Open, Closed, or Rained Out, with field status visible from the dashboard.
- Keep game information together. Add coordination notes to games and access match-report photos more easily, including full-size image viewing. Score-entry controls are clearer, with the submission action kept in view.
Player approvals and registration
- Choose the approval process that fits your league. Player registration settings now offer Auto Approve, League Approve, and Captain Approve. In leagues using Captain Approve, captains can review and confirm players from their team roster, individually or in a selected group.
- See what is still needed. Approval and roster screens distinguish approval from remaining profile, waiver, and payment requirements. An approval does not bypass those requirements.
- Keep an approval history. League administrators can review approval records and retain the ability to approve players. Eligible approvals can carry forward when identity details remain unchanged; captain approvals are specific to a team.
- Cleaner registration follow-up. A follow-up fix prevents an incomplete duplicate from prompting a player to register again when a matching active, paid, waiver-complete registration already exists.
- Keep unpaid registration amounts current. Changes to registration fee amounts can now update eligible unpaid registrations to reflect the revised fee.
- More consistent registration closeout. When an administrator closes a registration, pending entries are marked expired and eligible unfinished payment records are voided. Completed payments and bond payments are excluded from that cleanup.
Changing the approval setting does not reset existing active players. Leagues introducing captain approval should communicate their own rollout and expectations to captains.
Discipline, scoring, and standings
- Manage suspensions by date range. Date-based suspension controls and clearer roster and discipline displays help communicate when a player is suspended. Administrators can resolve a specific suspension directly from the suspended-player list; other unresolved suspensions still apply.
- Customize penalty messages. Edit your league's penalty email wording, insert supported information fields, preview the message, or restore the default.
- Find disciplinary records more easily. The player app adds discipline filters for season, card type, payment, games missed, and team fines.
- Choose when draft scores become final. League settings now expose the waiting period before an unconfirmed draft score is automatically confirmed.
- Customize standings. Choose which standings columns to display and configure promotion/relegation highlighting. The player app also highlights the current team. Promotion/relegation colors communicate positions in the table; they do not move teams between divisions.
- Clearer transfer handling. The player registration flow supports transfer requests and pending-transfer feedback. Unresolved red-card suspensions or associated outstanding fines prevent a transfer until resolved.
Communication and the player app
- A dedicated notifications page. League Manager and the player app now provide a full notifications view with search, read/unread filtering, and a mark-all-as-read action. Notification handling also gains league context.
- Share an event. Copy an event link, share to X, or download a QR code from the event-sharing dialog. Recipients still need to sign in to view the event.
- Archive team chats. Captains can archive a chat after confirmation. Archiving hides it for everyone in that chat.
- A clearer team view. Updated squad cards make captains easier to identify, and jersey-number editing is available from player lists.
Everyday improvements
League administrators can reorder dashboard widgets and save their preferred schedule-filter layout. This release also adds manual date entry, clearer search and selection controls, improved password-recovery screens, better transaction filtering, and fixes for schedule grouping and pagination. Player-app filters reset when switching leagues.
Suggested first steps: customize your dashboard, try the new schedule controls, and review your league's player-approval, scoring, standings, and penalty-message settings.
